what to wear to your photo shoot

5 Best Places To Buy Clothes For Your Engagement Session

  1. Nanamacs Boutique: A small town (local CDA!) boutique gone viral, they offer the cutest new on trend clothes for many different types of styles- from Boho to Chic this place has you covered. Their pieces are high quality and shipping is FREE, yeah that’s right, you heard me. Plus they are one of the few online boutiques that have Live Feeds that premier on Facebook everyday, so you can see what the clothes look like on more than one person. Find which model has measurements similar to you, and their sizes are below the photo in every listing, making it easy to shop online. Better hurry though, their stuff sells out in MINUTES.

This is one of my favorite places to recommend for my girls- you can’t go wrong here! Can’t decide what to pair your new top with? They also try on and style clothes multiple different ways every. single. day. so you have as much Inspo as you need to make your outfit complete.

  2. Lulus: LISTEN UP- if you are wanting to be a little bit more boujee for your engagement session (hell yes I’m here for it), this is the place for you- their dresses and shoes are top notch quality and they have everything your little extra self could ever desire. Seriously, their dresses are such high quality that if you travel your bag may be overweight from the thick fabric of the dresses alone!

They also have a whole section dedicated to affordable wedding dresses and bridesmaid/guest dresses.

They have a variety of dresses in different lengths, colors and most importantly different TEXTURES- this is the number one thing I recommend to my couples is to play around with the textures of your outfits, you don’t want a lot of patterns in the clothes that you wear for your session but things always photograph better when they have an interesting or unique texture (like a dress with a lace overlay).

  3. Vici Dolls: Follow a blogger on instagram? You can almost guarantee their cute clothes are from this online store- just beware, they run a tad small.

  4. Lime Lush Boutique: This place carries very similar brands to Nanamacs, but their shipping is not free, and their prices tend to be a little bit higher. The good news is, if something is ever sold out on the Nana website, you can usually find it (or something similar) on here.

  5. H & M: If your style is a little more edgy, this is the place for you & your bae! They have men’s and women’s clothes (& you can actually try them on before you buy because they are located in most malls, which also makes it easier to match your outfit to your boo!) I highly recommend this place to my couples (especially the guys) because they are affordable and have a very modern, urban feel- I love their jacket options for guys and they carry a lot of neutral and jewel toned colors, all of which photograph very well!
